          Built in 1928 this historic, family owned and operated facility has been extensively and lovingly renovated with an eye toward maintaining the atmosphere that has kept people coming back for nearly 70 years. Visiting the Symes is like stepping back into the 1940's. We provide guests with an escape from telephones and televisions and other nerve jangling distractions of modern life. What you will find is old fashioned hospitality from folks who are genuinely happy to have you visit them. The therapeutic mineral water in this area is reputed to be some of the finest in the world. It has been credited with providing relief form arthritis, rheumatism, sinus problems, skin disorders and other maladies.           The Symes Hotel is located in Hot Springs, Montana. One of Montana's hidden treasures, this small ranching community is tucked away at the foot of the Cabinet Mountains midway between Kalispell and Missoula in the western part of the state. This quiet, friendly community was named for the "Big Medicine" hot mineral springs discovered by the northwest Indian tribes and enjoyed by residents and visitors for over 100 years.
