      The Town of Hot Springs was incorporated in 1929. The current population is approximately 500 people.

      Our Town Council, consisting of the Mayor and 4 Council persons, meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. The Town Hall Office hours are Monday through Wednesday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (closed noon hour), Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (closed noon hour), and Friday, 8:00 a.m. until Noon.

      Hot Springs was named for the mineral waters that flow in the area. We are generally known around the world as Camas Hot Springs. Some believe these waters have comparable medicinial values with Baden-Baden, Germany.

      We are located 30 miles from Flathead Lake, 65 miles from Kalispell, and approximately 75 miles from Missoula in Western Montana. We are located on the Flathead Indian Reservation and considered part of Glacier Country in Montana.

      To find Hot Springs; (from Missoula) take highway 93 north to Ravalli. Turn left on Highway 200. Travel 20 miles to Perma. Cross the bridge at Perma on Highway 382. Take 382 16 miles to join Highway 28. Turn right and drive 2 miles to blinking light. Turn left and go 2 miles. You are here.

      To find Hot Springs; (from Kalispell) go south on Highway 93 approximately 35 miles to Elmo. Turn right on highway 28 and then travel approximately 28 miles to blinking light and turn right. 2 miles in and you are here.

      To find Hot Springs; (from Spokane) take I-90 South to St. Regis. Take Highway 135 21 miles until it joins Highway 200. Turn left on 200. Travel 7 miles to highway 28 and turn right. Travel 19 miles to the blinking light. Turn left and drive 2 miles. You are here.

      We do have Zoning in Hot Springs and we require Zoning Compliance permits.
